Sudarshan Khanna, from the National Institute of Design, is well known for promoting folk toys in India. The book works at three levels. For the small child it gives instructions on how to make folk toys. For the older child, it brings alive science through toymaking. The section for adults raises issues on toys in today’s world, enabling them to make informed choices.
