First puzzles: underwater animals

A set of 3 puzzles of turtle, frog and fish with 4, 5 and 6 pieces, graded from easy to difficult. The pieces are sturdy and durable and fit into a frame.

Puzzles are an important early learning tool. Children develop skills of observation – a pre-reading skill –
and problem solving. They understand part-whole relationships too. Fixing the pieces in place requires the pincer grip, an important pre-writing skill.
