Geometrical solids

Ten solid, painted wooden shapes. The child learns about shapes, develops visual discrimination and the ability to compare, and hones concentration skills. Naming the geometric solids and pointing out to faces, corners and points helps develop vocabulary and language skills.  

These are standard Montessori material meant for schools. They can also be used by parents who are planning to homeschool the Montessori way. Handcrafted items will have natural variations.
