Gond painting

The kit provides an introduction to Gond painting, practiced by a central Indian tribe of the same name. Gond paintings are very bright and based entirely on the artist’s imagination. Like most traditional art forms Gond paintings too use vegetable dyes and natural colours. With the material provided here, a child can give rein to imagination while painting his picture in the Gond style.
 
The box contains: 10 colour pencils, 2 sachets of natural material with instructions on how to make natural colour, 5 Gond colour cards and a leaflet that provides a little background on Gond art. For home use.
