Sandpaper numbers

Numbers from 0 to 9, cut out of sandpaper and mounted on masonite boards. As the child traces the textured numbers with his fingertips he learns the symbols for the numbers he knows and will be able to write them when time comes. This exercise comes after the spindle boxes. These are standard Montessori material meant for schools. They can also be used by parents who are planning to homeschool the Montessori way. Handcrafted items will have natural variations.
