Phad painting

The kit provides an introduction to Phad painting. This folk art of Rajasthan was practiced by the Bhopas who used Phad scrolls to narrate stories of brave Rajput warriors. Like most traditional art forms Phad too uses vegetable dyes and natural colours. With the material provided here, a child can paint a Phad picture of his own hero!  
    
The box contains: 6 poster colours, 2 brushes, 2 sachets of natural material with instructions on how to make natural colour, 10 colour cards and a leaflet that provides a little background on Phad art. For home use.
