Pagade, Dayakattam, Chausar, Chaupad, Pachees… this game of dice goes by many names in different parts of India. This is a ‘race game’—the one who gets ‘home’ first wins. There can be 2 or 4 players. This set, with an attractive canvas gameboard, brightly painted wooden counters, cowrie shells and  a pair of metal dice comes with instructions on how to play the game.
