Pagade: silken

Pagade, Dayakattam, Chausar, Chaupad, Pachees… this game of dice goes by many names in different parts of India. This is a ‘race game’—the one who gets ‘home’ first wins. There can be 2 or 4 players. This set has an attractive gameboard made of silken cloth in bright colours. The counters are made of wood and dyed in non-toxic colours; the pair of dice is wood and metal.
