Eye-spy find it cards

4 self-checking base cards with centre panels of pictures from daily life and side panels of individual objects from the pictures. Also, 48 small item cards with pictures of objects from the central panels on one side and their spellings on the flip side. The child can begin by talking about the scenes in the main panel as an exercise to test his observation skills. Then the parent/teacher uses the 48 item cards to help the child play a game that requires him to pick from the pile and match each card with the words on the side panels of the base card. This game can be played with pictures with a younger child and words with an older one. A good way to hone observation skills and develop language and vocabulary.
